Ampacity + Dola

Space rockers Ampacity and the post-metal Dola on a co-headlining tour of Poland.

Dola was formed in 2018 by three musicians from different parts of Poland, melting psychedelic doom metal, acoustic guitar, blastbeats and distorted bass into a pot filled with primitive madness, apathetic sadness, childlike nostalgia and fear worthy of today's times. In 2020, they debuted with a self-titled LP, with a psychotic mix of drone/doom metal, post-rock, a post-radiation mutation of black metal; in 2021, their second album Czasy was released.

Gdynia-based Ampacity play heavy space rock inspired by stoner and 70s psychedelia and prog; they describe their sound themselves as 'retrofuturistic', which seems to be an apt description. They made their debut in 2013 with Encounter One, released on the Tricity indie Nasiono Records; they currently have three albums and an EP to their credit, and their latest release, entitled IV, came out in March.
