Informace o koncertu
Japanese kawaii metal adepts will play in Warsaw at the Progresja Summer Stage. This will be their first headliner concert in the country.
They are eccentric and self-confident, and their mix of alt-metal, trance and j-pop has brought the artists thousands of fans around the world in no time at all. The Tokyo-based artists are coming to Poland as part of the promotion of this year's album, The Other One. When they took their first steps into the metal world less than a decade ago, they instantly won a large following of fans, but also hostile listeners who predicted a quick end to their career. However, it's been a few years now and Babymetal are not only doing better, but also continue to develop artistically. One only has to compare their debut album with their latest, The Other One, to quickly realise that, even if certain elements have remained in place, the compositional prowess and the shape of the songs have skyrocketed. The Japanese women continue to mix the sweetness of j-pop with the astringency of metalcore with just the right amount of grace and lightness, and they also pin this down with a fair dose of metallised alt-rock and electronic guffaws. This controlled chaos holds the listener by the throat and inspires maximum delight.
