Artyfiction + Hellhaven + Pinn Dropp

The Artyfiction project was formed in early 2018. The roots of the band go back to a formation called Laszlo Taxi, which consisted of Darek, Mirek and Paweł. The desire to spread their wings as well as change their sound triggered a series of reshuffles and transformations ultimately ending with Wojtek joining the lineup. In those dark days many vocalists passed through the ranks of the band, but none of them stayed for longer, eventually leading to the decision to join the instrumental path. However, all the efforts were not in vain. The diversity of musical roots and spheres of interest of individual band members resulted in the richness of sound and varied stylistics of the songs.

The band appeared on the Polish music scene in 2010 with their debut album Art for Art's Sake on such radio stations as Radio Kraków, Radio Gdańsk, Radio Szczecin and Polish Radio Trójka. In 2012, after signing a contract with the German label Legacy-Records was released the second album Fri. Beyond The Frontier, which gained positive recognition not only on the Polish market, but also in England, Canada and France, being highly acclaimed by local reviewers. The band's music is a wide variation on melodic progressive rock, post rock and metal with a hint of Far East and Middle East influences. Non-standard musical landscapes are combined neatly with melodicism and accessibility, which is quite an uncommon combination of uncomplicated, demanding and elaborate music with digestible, delicate and ear-pleasing melodics.

Pinn Dropp was born from the idea of guitarist and composer Piotr Sym, who, in order to express his fascination with progressive music, undertook to write music with a future band in mind. The collaboration with drummer and composer Dariusz Piwowarczyk, which started in 2015, resulted in the final sound of Pinn Dropp. After a short period of collaboration with vocalist Krzysztof Sałapa, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Mateusz Jagiełło joined the line-up in spring 2017. In February 2018, bassist Paweł Woliński joined the lineup. In December of the same year, the album Perfectly Flawed was released in digital format and premiered in CD form in January 2019. Dariusz Piwowarczyk left the group after the release of the album and was replaced by a drummer from Macedonia, Zoran Krecho. Keyboardist Bartek Kosinski also joined the lineup.
