The Boto Theatre is slowly coming back to reality and resuming a series of Thursday meetings with music.
Tomasz Koper is a percussion graduate of the F. Chopin State Music School of the First Degree in Olsztyn. He developed his skills of playing the drum set mainly as a self-taught musician. For years he has been involved in the young jazz scene of Tricity. Together with the bands Sekstans and Tomasz Chyła Quintet he has won numerous awards and distinctions at national festivals, competitions and jazz band reviews. He moves freely in different music styles. Currently he is a member of Daniel Hertzov and Rottenness.
Michał Jan Ciesielski - saxophonist, composer, arranger, sound engineer, representative of the jazz scene in Trójmiasto. Graduate of the Music Academy in Gdansk in the jazz saxophone class of Maciej Sikla. He studied at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam. He is a member of Quantum Trio, Jan Konop Big Band, Rottenness and Tymon Tymański & Mu. He is a finalist of the international Taichung Saxophone Competition in Taiwan, winner of the 6th International Improvisation Competition in Katowice in 2013 and of the Young Jazz Performers Review in Łomża. He is also the winner of the award for best instrumentalist at the Review of Young Jazz and Blues Ensembles at the Gdynia Sax Club..
