Hip hop and electronic music legend DJ Shadow is heading back to Prague. He will bring his latest album The Mountain Will Fall to Roxy on September 20th 2017.
DJ Shadow is one of the world’s biggest music collectors, he owns more than 60 thousands vinyls. No wonder he achieved fame for his unique style of sampling. Incidentally, his 1996 debut Endtroducing… was the first record entirely made of samples, which is even listed in The Guiness Book of Records. Even though DJ Shadow changed his style over past years, he remained faithfull to AKAI MPC60 vintage sampler, which played key role in composing his latest album The Mountain Will Fall released in 2016. DJ Shadow described his passion for vintage gadgets in the book Behind the Beat where he was featured along legends as J Dilla, Madlib or DJ Premier.
