American musician and producer Ghostemane is coming to Prague. He is going to present his unique dark music combining rap and metal on April 27th in Mono Fono. His friends Wavy Jones, Horse Head and Nedarb will be supporting the show.
Eric Ghoste, known under his stage name Ghostemane, was growing up in Florida. He started making music at 14, influenced mainly by metal and punk. Later, he discovered hardcore and rap and joined the band Nemesis where he released his first rap song. He's been performing as Ghostemane since 2014. A year later, he moved to Los Angeles and became a member of independent rapper collective SCHEMMAPOSSE founded by the rapper JGRXXN, where among others Lil Peep was also member. In 2016, SCHEMMAPOSSE has retired, but Ghostemane started to be more popular. Since 2015, he has released six studio albums, several singles and was featured on many singles by other rappers. His latest full-lenght album Hexada came out last September and at the end of February, three new songs were released on EP Dahlia I. Ghostemane's music is inspired by occultism, metal or grind-math core bands, such as Circle Takes the Square.
