Information about the concert
Martina Trchová will launch her album 90% of happiness in the Unijazz Reading Room on 13 November at 8pm.
Singer, composer, lyricist and guitarist Martina Trchová spent four years preparing the material for her fourth album, which she named 90% of happiness after a verse of one of her songs. The album was released eight years after the Anděl-awarded Holobyt (2016) and was prepared in collaboration with producer and musician Martin Kyšperský (Květy). The result is eleven colourful songs in which Martina Trchová again presents herself not only as a great singer of calm strength and tenderness, but also as an author with a flair for unusual melodies.
A number of "album" guests will play with Martina at the launch in Prague at the Unijazz Reading Room – in addition to Martin Kyšperský, other members of the band Květy (Jiří Habarta, Ondřej Kyas), drummer Martin Novák, multi-instrumentalist Bharata Rajnošek or Martina's long-time bandmate Lucie Krpalová (Prune). The godmother and guest will be the slammer, rapper, poet and writer Anna Beata Háblová.
