Funk Fragment + NaOddBeat

Funk Fragment is an instrumental quartet with a dynamic funk expression. Formed in 2016, the quartet has played numerous concerts abroad, in clubs and festivals all over Germany. One of their first successes was winning the title of the best newcomer band in Germany at the 2018 School Jam festival. After the release of their first album Green Galaxy and a long hiatus caused by the pandemic, they are now back and will perform on November 29 at Jazz Dock as part of the Young Tunes Jazz festival.

The band NaOddBeat was formed at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in 2022 and soon grew into a bigger project. The group consists of five enthusiastic musicians who are characterized by a high level of creativity and the ability to combine different musical genres such as jazz, fusion, alternative jazz... The band’s first single is called Jungle Joyride and they are currently working on other tracks.
