90s East Coast hip-hop legends Onyx will visit Warsaw's Progresja, accompanied by frequent collaborators.
The Queens, New York group Onyx was founded in 1988 and became a pioneering voice in East Coast hardcore hip-hop in the 1990s, with their 1993 hit single Slam paving the way for the genre's introduction to MTV. Originally a four-piece, Onyx currently comprises rappers Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz; they've released eighteen studio albums, which have included collaborations with the likes of Wu-Tang Klan, 50 Cent, DMX and ASAP Ferg.
Joining Onyx are Snak the Ripper and Dope D.O.D. A Vancouver native, Snak began his career in the latter half of the 00s as a member of the graffiti crew Stompdown Killaz; in 2010 he became a member of 100 MAD, a hip-hop collective founded by Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz of Onyx. He has nine studio albums to his credit, the most recent of which is 2022's Let It Rip; he has collaborated with the likes of Tech N9ne, Sean Price, Swollen Members and RA the Rugged Man. Dope D.O.D is a Dutch hardcore hip-hop group that has also dabbled in horrorcore and EDM over the course of its over 15-year history. Founded in 2006 as Duo of Darkness, they have since released eight albums, the most recent of which is 2023's The Whole Planet Shifted.
