Legendary NYHC crew Subzero will visit Wroclaw's CRK accompanied by local scene greats.

Subzero formed in New York in 1989, and thus remains one of the longest-running bands in the historic New York scene. But it's not the passage of time that sets them apart the most. They are one of the most original bands the scene has spit out of its guts. From the beginning, their music was characterized by something unique. The musicians' fascination with extreme metal, rock, post-punk, combined with the sound and dynamics of NYHC, gave excellent results in the form of classic albums like Happiness Without Peace and The Suffering of Man. From the former comes the song Boxed In, which was covered by Hatebreed and Terror. Their most recent release is the single House of Grief. Band leader Lou di Bella's multi-year battle with leukemia hasn't dampened their spirit, in fact it has strengthened them.

Subzero will be supported by Lower Silesian crew Heavy Runner – well-known scene heavyweights, signed to Ratel Records, playing heavy NY-style hardcore with strong hip-hop influences. Last year alone they played in front of Agnostic Front, Jesus Piece and E.Town Concrete. They enter 2024 with a short, but typically solid demo tape. It precedes a new album, which is expected to see the light of day this year.

The line-up closes with Bane of Mind. Active since 2020, the Bielsko-Biala-based crew plays metal-inspired heavy hardcore, continuing the angsty lineage of classic 90s metalcore. Bane of Mind is made up of musicians known from such lineups as Good Lookin' Out, Minority and Burning Sky. They debuted with a demo released in 2022; their first EP is due out in February 2024.

One of the organizers of the concert is the More Than Music crew, which this time will be collecting donations for the Masz Nosa Foundation.
