Jaroslav Svoboda + Der Šenster Gob

The concert of Jaroslav Svoboda and the band Der Šenster Gob, which will conclude the St.Ludmilla Pilgrimage at Chvalská Fortress, will take place on 17 September at 7:00 pm.

Jarda Svoboda: Musician and artist by profession, teacher by occupation and much more. He founded and led the bands Father's Children (1988-93), Naholou 25 (1994-96, together with Jakub Sejkora) and Traband (1995-2016). He was also a member of the bands Zuby nehty, Květovaný kůň and Holy Fanda & The Reverends, Pěvecký chor Svoboda, Přátelé člověka.
Der Šenster Gob: Prague acoustic music group focusing on Romani, Jewish and other Eastern European folk music. The group combines a wide range of styles from old klezmer tunes to newer gypsy jazz songs, in energetic arrangements but with respect for tradition. Der Schoenster Gob has toured throughout Europe since its inception, with over 530 concerts in 26 countries in 2023.
