Kanaďanka Shania Twain patřila na konci dvacátého a na začátku jednadvacátého století ke komerčně nejúspěšnějším zpěvačkám vůbec. Její alba se prodávala po miliónech, její singly obsazovaly první příčky světových hitparád a její koncertní turné platila za ta nejrychleji vyprodaná. Díky úspěchu alb The Woman In Me z roku 1995, Come On Over z roku 1997 a Up!, které vyšlo v roce 2002, se Shania Twain stala jednou z nejpopulárnějších zpěvaček všech dob a pochlubit se může i celou řadou prestižních ocenění mezi kterými nechybí ani pět cen Grammy.
