Information about the concert
Abate Berihun & Addis Ken Project brings the ancient cultural ties between Ethiopia and Israel into the context of contemporary jazz.
It's not at all illogical that one of the most exciting new ethiojazz formations has been formed in Israel and with the assistance of local star pianist Roy Moro. The communication between ethio-jazz and what can be called Levantine jazz is historically given and natural. The proof will be on display and available for viewing and listening on May 28, 2024 in the historic hall of Prague's New Town Hall. The concert by Abate Berihun & Addis Ken Project will take place as part of the Jazz Meets World series.
