Kalle, the band from Tábor, said to have a Nordic soul, consists of singer Veronika Zemanová (formerly Buriánková) and guitarist David Zeman. The band has won 3 Anděl awards and the Apollo Music Critics Award. Both have played in other bands. Veronika and David were both behind the band Veena and the post metal band Nod Nod.
