Information about the concert
The band Onuka will perform at Warsaw's Progresja as part of their tour promoting their latest album Room.
Onuka is a Ukrainian electropop band created in 2013 by Nata Zhizhchenko - singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter - and Yevhen Filatov (The Maneken) - musician, composer, sound producer and director. Onuka's sound is an organic blend of electronica, contemporary pop and Ukrainian folk instruments.
The European Room tour is a continuation of the Ukraine tour - a presentation of the band's latest album and a separate chance for all Ukrainians to hear and see beyond Ukraine, an opportunity to share all that has accumulated inside and tell through music all that is in the hearts of Ukrainians. In the near future, Onuka will perform in Warsaw, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris.
Room is the band's fourth music album, each song of which is dedicated to a particular problem of contemporary Ukrainians under the conditions of war. None of the Ukrainians chose to be in these events, no one expected their lives to be divided into "before" and "after." Few had the time, opportunity and space to realize their forced new life and rethink their dreams for the future. Each song on the album is dedicated to the dramatic emotions and situations Ukrainians found themselves in.
