Information about the concert
Rope Sect is a German post-punk band that came into the public consciousness in 2017 with their debut EP Parsonae Ingratae, released on the metal label Iron Bonehead. This fact perfectly illustrates the uniqueness of Rope Sect; all of their music is a journey into the land of darkness. It's like a cold November fog – it surrounds, envelops and gives no hope. Their first full-length album The Great Flood was released in 2020; they are currently working on a new LP, which will probably be released before the concert date.
Trance, rhythm, the ritual of a falling city is how Schröttersburg describes their music. They've been around for more than a decade, and since their album Krew, released in 2015, they've come a very long way from post-punk and coldwave to music full of trance, heaviness and industrial noise. Rumor has it that their concerts are a memorable experience, and the band's latest material Kosmogonia only shows its full face live.
Black Mynah is the project of Joanna Kucharska, a bassist and vocalist known for Lonker See and Kiev Office, among others. The band's music can be described as melodic and melancholy personal songs with distorted bass. The band is currently working on new material, which is expected to be ready in the second half of this year.
