The Gray Zone

The Gray Zone will perform at U Staré paní.

The Gray Zone is a name that vocalist Barbora Kafkova and pianist Dusan Kovacevic use for various projects of theirs, since they play multiple genres of music. Both are jazz musicians, but at the same time, they are trying to find them selves within the more modern genres, such as R’n’B, funk, hip hop and neo soul, hence the name, The Gray Zone. This time, they will present them selves with a crew of funk, neo soul, as well as jazz musicians. On the saxophone, the Veronika Dražkova, who studied at Jaroslav Ježka conservatory, playing with many groups, as well as a sidewomen for some of the pop singers. On the bass, Marek Pach, who also studied at Jaroslav Ježka conservatory, and on drums, Adam Dzuro, currently studying at Jaroslav Ježka conservatory, part of the young generations of musicians and music professionals.
