Žamboši

Žamboši play with Jan Žamboch on guitar, Stanislava Žambochová on accordion, substituted by Aleš Mrnuštík on electric bass and Jiří Nedavaška on drums and samples. With the use of minimal means, the band's sound is full and “moves the insides”. It is a contemporary, progressive, acoustic-folk-rock band. Its songs emphasize lyrics and emotionality in live concert performances. They have always been nominated for the Anděl Award in the folk category for their five releases to date. Three times they have managed to win the award, which is a big deal in the genre. The last time they received the Anděl Award from Jan Spaleny was on 5 March 2019 at the Karlín Forum for their album Louvre and on 6 November 2021 they released their fifth CD in a row called Světlojemy.
