Information about the festival
ESNS is Europe's main conference and showcase festival, focusing on European music. The exchange of European music in is one of the main goals of Eurosonic Noorderslag (16-19 January 2019 in Groningen, The Netherlands).
Music moves, challenges and breaks boundaries. Not only country and city limits but also boundaries between people. Music has the ability to connect us. ESNS has been founded in order to stimulate and push the circulation of European music across the European continent as well as beyond. In order to obtain this goal, ESNS organises a festival and conference in Groningen, the Netherlands, over four days. During these four days close to 40.000 visitors from over 40 countries come together to meet up, learn, discover new talent and network.
The conference includes industry meetings of our long term partners; the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Yourope, Network Europe, the European Export office(s) and our own European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP).
